Jannie-and-Charity Envy
Okay, so do you want to know a secret? I was envious of Jannie and Charity when they were in high school. I was the lame older sister who still hadn't moved out of the house, but was old enough that she should have. And there was Jannie whom everybody loved with her loads of friends. Yes, I know, I did have a fun group of friends in high school, but Jannie was like the pivot point of her group. When she turned, the whole group turned; when she laughed, the whole group laughed; when she sneezed...well, they probably all just said "bless you." And then there was Charity, the musical maiden of the west, winning everybody's hearts and being just amazing. And both of the girls were getting all kinds of awards and getting all kinds of solos and parts in the musicals and plays and what-not. And I was just sitting back and watching and kind of wishing I was them.
