Crawdad fishing

These are the only pictures of the family reunion that I got! So, happy fishing! Thanks to Jannie and Reed for taking us. It was very gratifying to actually catch something on the end of the line!

Bathrooms and Showers...

On your way into camp you'll pass the Men's Room.

HA! Just kidding... but you really do pass the Little Stinker Tinklers on your way into camp. Here's a shot of the bathrooms from the road (we're facing the women's side).

Above is the Men's Restroom (for real this time), and below is the Women's Restroom.

They look virtually the same from the inside... although I must tell you, the stalls are really short. The bottoms come up to my mid shin and the tops only to my shoulder.

So, this is the dining... oops, I mean shower rooms. The stalls are again pretty short, but at least the Men's and Women's have their own sets of 4 showers and 4 restrooms.

Showers are limited to 3 minutes... and NO BAR SOAP. You can only use liquid because the County Health Department is afraid of disease spreading.

Between the two restrooms is a small laundry room. So if you have any need for one, bring detergent (dry or liquid is fine). But it's only one washer and one dryer, so if you're going to use it be prepared to share!

Directions to Camp LoMia

-Take the AZ-87 (Beeline) NORTH toward Payson. Continue going north toward Pine... if you pass the Payson Wal-mart on your left, you're going the correct direction. :)
- After you get to Pine, you're going to PASS "Uncle Toms Kwik Stop".

-Immediately after, turn RIGHT on Pine Creek Canyon Drive. It's just before the LDS church on the corner.

- These pictures were taken from "Uncle Tom's" parking lot... so the turn is literally immediatly after you pass it!

- Continue in about 1 mile and you'll see the gate to Camp LoMia. Continue through.

- A little further in, you'll PASS the caretaker's house on your right.

- Just past the caretaker's house is a gate (where the car just passed through in the picture).

- At the gate is this sign. When you pass through the gate, make an immediate LEFT into West Camp.

- Here's the cute little dirt road leading up to our reunion.

The whole trip should take you about 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours to get there from the valley... only 1 hour if your foot is as heavy as Brice's. :)
